Mission
Mountain Region Speech and Hearing Center, Inc. is a community, not-for-profit center with the mission to provide the people of this region with the highest quality treatment for speech, language, hearing, swallowing, and related disorders.
General Information
Mountain Region Speech and Hearing Center, Inc. was founded in 1974 by the Junior League of Kingsport and the Sertoma Clubs of Kingsport.
They provide treatment to patients who are referred to them by physicians, teachers, parents, or friends.
Patients are treated in their office, in schools, nursing homes, hospitals, or in their homes.
Their main office is located in downtown Kingsport (404 Revere Street), and a second office is located within the Rehabilitation Department of Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital.
All services are provided by speech-language pathologists and audiologists who have earned their Masters Degrees.
They are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed by the states of Tennessee and Virginia.
